Hours per Pay Period: 40

Schedule/Shift: Full time/Part time; M-F,

10:00am-6:00pm Wednesday-Sunday 

Salary: $42,000/annual

Position Overview:  

As a Social Rehabilitation Counselor you will gain the experience to work with individuals diagnosed with mental illness.  Assisting them with goals that are set during ISP meetings; such as symptom/emotion management, interpersonal effectiveness skills and independent living skills. The Social Rehabilitation Counselor would assist those supported with household skills such as grocery shopping, preparing meals, and general household upkeep, alongside addressing any need that may present itself in which the person supported needs assistance. It will also be required that you complete billable hours for Medicare each shift.  Trinity offers a wide variety of training opportunities for their professionals. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or related field

Additional qualifications include:

  • Balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, repetitive motion, pushing wheelchairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds
