Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Description:

Under the general supervision of the program administrator, provides treatment or habilitation services to adults with disabilities. In order to follow Trinity’s mission, great importance must be placed on those activities which encourage the growth and development of individuals receiving services and supports. The behavior analysts serve as agency-wide leaders, willing to share expertise in the context of agency committees, presentations, and training opportunities.  

Responsibilities: 

The following narrative highlights the routine expectations, events, and activities that are carried out on an ongoing basis by a behavior analyst at Trinity Services:

  • Proactively consulting with QIDPs and team leaders, serving on an agency-wide Individual Supports Committee
  • Supporting the department’s case managers in completing efficient and effective on-the-job training for direct support staff
  • Completing functional assessments with high level of expertise
  • Conducting observations for the purpose of determining the function(s) of a specific behavior
  • Developing feasible evidence-based behavior plans, monitoring data, making modifications (if applicable), and checking treatment validity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology with an understanding of the dynamics and appropriate interventions utilized with adults with disabilities
  • An applicant must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or eligible to sit for the exam.
  • Must be able to complete the following physical abilities such as balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, repetitive motion, pushing wheelchairs and lifting up to 40 pounds
