Maintenance Person

Description:

The maintenance department in an innovative nonprofit human service organization seeks a maintenance person to assist with basic home repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, home appliances installation/repair, HVAC, and painting. This opening is for entry level or skilled personnel. This position will report to the Maintenance Director.  Headquartered in the Chicagoland area.  Areas of responsibility will include fulfilling work orders in Trinity owned locations within Will and Cook counties.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Agreed Upon Hours:

Full-time; 40 hours, paid bi-weekly

Rotating on call

Schedule/Shift:

Monday- Friday

Salary Range:

$60,000 Annually (Increase based on performance)

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified applicants should have:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • A valid Illinois Driver's License and insurance
  • Minimal traffic violations in the last three years
  • Some basic working knowledge of home repair
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Will have to pass a background check
